Harmony Herd is an organic rare breed pig herd. The Oxford Sandy and Black pigs run free in the fields, building nests under hedges and wallowing in the pond. The pigs stay in family groups with the piglets being naturally weaned. As we are organic, we have a high level of animal care, with no tail docking, castration or teeth cutting allowed. Oxford Sandy and Black pigs are very friendly and enjoy human company, having their backs scratched and flopping at your feet, grunting gently and telling you about their da.
We also have a herd of Wild Boar X pigs, ruled over by a boar called Pumba. The little brown striped piglets blend perfectly with their background, making them very difficult to count.
